Today I want to show you two little dinosaurs – Orly’s Pixie Dust and a good old Pentium II processor. Great combination, isn’t it? :)

Originally launched in Spring 2010 with the Foil FX collection, Orly Luxe is now part of the core palette of colors.

Another day, another pink manicure. Today’s color comes from Orly Hot Stuff mini collection and the polish is called… yep, Hot Stuff :)

I knew I had to get Sapphire Silk ever since I saw it’s swatches last spring on other beauty blogs. The polish was released with the Orly Precious collection for Spring 2011.
Teal blue Sapphire Silk is one of mine favorites from those 6 spring shades, and judging by the collection reviews on the web, it’s definitely the biggest compliment thief of the lot.

Today is the 10th day of the Challenge and it’s time for gradient nails. I did this mani using 3 nail polishes and scotch tape. Here’s the result:

It’s rainbow nails today, and I wasn’t sure which design to use, that’s why I picked the easiest one :D

It’s the 7th day of the challenge and I’m wearing black and white mani. I decided to try a simple nail art design using two classic colors, and I painted a silver stripe on each nail to make it look more interesting.

For the base color I used Orly’s GoGo white nail polish (4 coats). I chose it for its silver microglitter as I don’t like to wear plain white polishes on my nails. The glitter is hardly visible from the distance, but at least I know it’s there :)
For the black color I used Sally Hansen’s Hard As Nails cream Black Out (2 coats). Silver stripes were made with Orly’s Dazzle, and I used Orly’s Glosser as a top coat.

Today is a day of purple nail polish, so I’m wearing Velvet Rope 40631 from Orly’s Hot Stuff collection of “the best and brightest shades”. It’s a very deep blue based purple polish. The formula is very cooperative and coverage looks just right after three rather thin coats.
3 coats of Orly’s Velvet Rope (daylight):

Today’s blue polish is Frisky 48721 and it’s from Orly’s Happy Go Lucky Spring 2011 collection. I also have Fresh from this collection and now I’m thinking of buying Frolic.
Frisky is a very cheerful light blue polish with a hint of turquoise, perfect for a bright summer day.
2 coats of Orly’s Frisky:

The first coat was a little streaky, so I added another one. I might have applied the polish a little thick today and that’s why I’m not absolutely happy with the mani. Anyway, it’s not Frisky‘s fault, as it has a nice cream formula :)

Today’s color is green and I painted my nails with Fresh 48722 from Orly’s Happy Go Lucky collection. It’s the only green nail polish I own, I’m not really a fan of green in general, but this very shade looks so vivid and fresh, just like its name says.
The color is very bright and cheerful but definitely not a neon. I’m still in two minds about this polish and how it looks on me, guess I’ll leave it till summer days and then try again :)
3 coats of Orly’s Fresh in the daylight (please, don’t mind such a colorful background that decided to become the foreground >< it's my summer dress with floral print):

The first coat was not even, the second one was almost perfect, almost but not absolutely perfect :) So I did the third coat just to be sure.
I took the pic in the morning and now when I’m writing the post it’s evening here, I still have Fresh on my nails, it stayed all day, survived housework, shopping and never chipped or faded on tips. I think it would held up for at least one more day, but: 1) it doesn’t go with my winter wardrobe and 2) tomorrow is a day for another color :)
