Today’s color is Maybelline Colorama in Green Park. I bought it about 2-3 months ago, so it’s another untried polish in my collection, and I think I’ll never try it again.

Another beautiful shade by OPI today, called Done Out In Deco. I got it on a blog sale almost unused so yay me :D The polish is from the OPI South Beach collection for Spring/Summer 2009.

Today I’m wearing a khaki nail polish by IsaDora (for those who never heard of it – its a Swedish cosmetics brand). The name of the polish speaks for itself, it’s a classic military green shade with no shimmer/glitter added – actually, have you seen any in the army? :)
Here’s the polish hiding from the camera:

Big Apple Red dates back to the Fall of 2000, when OPI released their New York City collection of 12 nail polishes, including this very shade. The polish was a great success, so OPI made it a part of the Classic collection of colors.

We’ll always have Paris comes from OPI France collection for Fall/Winter 2008. I know it is an oldie, but I really like this deep plum purple cream. It’s a fantastic vampy color for a snowy winter day. One of my favorites!
Here it is in the bottle (daylight):

Today’s blue polish is Frisky 48721 and it’s from Orly’s Happy Go Lucky Spring 2011 collection. I also have Fresh from this collection and now I’m thinking of buying Frolic.
2 coats of Orly’s Frisky + 1 coat of Orly Glosser:

Today’s color is green and I painted my nails with Fresh 48722 from Orly’s Happy Go Lucky collection. It’s the only green nail polish I own, I’m not really a fan of green in general, but this very shade looks so vivid and fresh, just like its name says.
3 coats of Orly’s Fresh in the daylight (please, don’t mind such a colorful background that decided to become the foreground >< it's my summer dress with floral print):

I don’t have much to say about Sephora’s Yellow Umbrella, except that it’s a big disappointment to me :( Now I wish I had bought Orly’s Lemonade or Live Wire instead, since both of them were in stock as well.
The thing is I was so happy about Sephora’s Cherry Popsicle, that I was expecting the same quality from Yellow Umbrella. The brush and bottle are the same, but this one turned out to be much worse. It applies streaky and unevenly, regardless of the number of coats. In the pic I have 4 coats of Yellow Umbrella, and you can see how bad it looks:

Needless to say I removed it right after taking the pic. I’m not sure, is it me or the polish that’s to blame? I tried to be very careful, but it went on thick, streaky and gloppy.
The color looks fine to me, I think this neutral yellow shade will work with many skin tones, and ofc it will look much better in summer (and on shorter nails), but I will never ever paint my nails with it – too much time and nerves to lose for such a poor mani :( I’ll only use it for flowers or some other art.

Today is the first day of the Challenge and I’m to paint my nails red. I chose a lovely red polish Cherry Popsicle L03 from Sephora. It’s described as rich cool red and yes, that’s what Cherry Popsicle is in rl.

Back in November, when I made a swatch of Yves Rocher’s Mauve Leger, I mentioned that YR nail polish bottle was quite small, just 5.5 ml
Guess what? Today’s nail polish, Vert Abysses by Yves Rocher is in a 3 ml bottle :)) They are getting smaller and smaller each time I buy them 0_o and now I’m concerned about how long this polish will last, as I really like the color. Just look at this little cute thingy!
