Today I’d love to show you 2 sets of temporary tattoos from a Moscow-based company Miami Tattoos. I won the sets in a nail art competition held by OPI Russia.
First off, scans of the sheets before I cut them to pieces :D Each sheet is 150x210mm, and for example a white elephant temporary tattoo is 55x50mm.
To apply the Miami Tattoos:
- Cut around the image you want to apply.
- Peel off its transparent plastic covering.
- Place the tattoo (image side down) on the desired body location and dampen it with water.
- Press it down for around 10 seconds and then remove paper backing.
- Enjoy your beautiful tattoo!
Believe me, it’s super easy and painless :) Perhaps, even it’s even easier than applying nail decals! The first 2 photos at the beginning of the post show the temporary hand tattoos right after application. And here’s how they looked in 3 days:
As you can see the dream catcher tattoo was beginning to fade, so I removed it with olive oil, and that left me with 2 bracelet tattoos. If I remember it right I wore the bracelet tattoos for 2 more days until I removed them, only because I was starting to get bored with the designs. Needs to be mentioned that they looked perfectly fine! Although you can say that the nail polish bottle bracelet lost some if its shine. On their website I read that Miami tattoos last up to 10 days.
Next here’s a Love & Birds temporary tattoo that I applied on my ankle. I know some girls prefer not to see pedicures, especially in macro pics, so I cut the image just enough to give you the idea of how the tattoo looked right after application:
This is how I wore it – Day 2:
… and Day 3:
Again, I removed the love temporary tattoo only because I got bored with it, but I fully enjoyed wearing it for 3 days! It survived showers and a bath, although I was careful and avoided applying any body creams and oils on the tattoo.
Lastly, here’s a nail look with Miami cuticle tattoos. I didn’t tattoo all fingers at once, just wanted to make an accent.
I really enjoyed wearing Miami tattoos, especially because I knew I could remove them whenever I want to. I think it’s a great accessory! What made the whole thing even better was that I didn’t have to pay a penny (a rouble) for all the beauty. The tattoos are pricey, a set of 3 tattoos sheets is retailed for 1,190-1,390 RUB
I’m not sure if Miami Tattoos offers international shipping, but they have many online resellers. If you are interested, see the list of the stores here, I believe some of them ship internationally. Like I said, I got mine from OPI Russia, the sets were a collaboration of OPI with Miami Tattoos :)
Have you ever tried temporary tattoos? And if so, which brand would you recommend?
Thank you for looking!
