Blush nails with water decals from BPS

Negative space nail art in pink

I stumbled upon some unique water decals while browsing through Born Pretty Store beauty catalog.

Negative space with gradient nail tips – what is unique about that you ask me? Well, first of all, this smooth gradient I’m showing you today is super simple to achieve! You don’t have to do it using nail polishes, cosmetic sponges, nail polish remover, and that peel off thing that is applied around nails in order to protect cuticles from nail polish. The manicure is done with water decals, and to create it you’ll need just the decals and some water :)

Apply the decals over naked nails, seal them with a top coater and you are ready to go. The decals are semitransparent, and when topped with a clear top coater they give a somewhat pink glass finish. They hide well any yellowness of nail tips you may happen to have (if you have any of course).

Overall, I’m seriously in love with my cute summer manicure. It feels so fresh and light, and it can also be a base for nail art. I think some delicate stamping will add to the whole girly look. I paired it with a tropical print tee to accentuate the pink gradient.

I think the blush decals can be compared to a tint lipbalm that makes you lips look brighter and well cared-for but does not colour them like a regular lipstick :) I wish they had the decals in other shades! If you want to have a better look at the set of blush water decals (the code is 6102-4), click here to go to the product’s page on Born Pretty Store. Currently the decals are on sale for $1.99 and if you want to get some money off buying any other BPS products that are not on sale, feel free to use my coupon code MARIX31 :)
