I love botanical drawings and illustrations, they add a vintage look to everything. And I also love nail water decals. So let me show you a manicure that I enjoyed wearing a lot!
Last weekend I got a nail mail from Nicole Diary, a Singapore based company that offers a wide range of nail water decals, stamping plates and other nail accessories. They sent me 5 decal sheets to review:
The first one I tried was a pattern #05 – it’s very summer-y and light, and matched well my white ruffled skirt. Here’s its scan in a high resolution, showing how detailed the print is:
The decals’ quality is very good, they are stretchy, but not easily damaged. I had no issues applying them on my arched nails, I just pulled them to conform to my nails which also helped to take out creases. The only downside I found is that all Nicole Diary decals don’t have a rounded top side. I had to cut them myself to fit the cuticles line.
Here’s a macro of the thumb nail:
The decals are white based, so you’ll need a white background to use them over. I chose a white Dance Legend creme nail polish in 1 coat for the base.
These floral nail decals, as well as many other Nicole Diary products, can be found in their Amazon web store here. Right now they have many items on sale, so feel free to have a look. They gave me a coupon code “MA2016” to share with my readers. If you leave the code with the order note, Nicole Diary will add a small free gift worth $2-$5 to your order :)
Thank you for looking! See you soon, as I have more designs to show you featuring the decals I got.

It really has a vintage touch. Lovely decals!
And that’s what I loved about them in the first place :))

They are, aren’t they? :) and they matched my summer ruffled skirt so lovely!
