Essie Navigate Her

Essie Navigate Her

I think green is a perfect colour to start summer with, so for my first summer post this year I chose a well known Essie green Navigate Her.

There are so many swatches of the polish that I hesitated whether I should post it at all. I’m sure many of you have heard of the colour or have a bottle of your own :) I’m not an exception, I bought this green long ago, as soon as I saw it on the shelf of a local beauty store.

If I’m not mistaken Navigate Her was released 4 years ago, as a part of the homonymous Essie Spring 2012 collection.

It’s a pale yellow toned green, warm enough and perfect for lifting the spirits. The colour is lighter and softer than most of the greens in my collection. In the pic below from left to right we have:

  • Lumene Awakening
  • Essie Navigate Her
  • Dance legend Yana
  • ORLY Green Apple
  • OPI Green-wich Village

In terms of application the polish is great. Two or three very thin quickdrying coats and you’re good to go. In the pic below and above I have Essie Navigate Her in three thin coats, and the third one was only because I knew I’ll be swatching it.

Since it’s a muted green, Navigate Her is matchable to many clothes in my wardrobe, and to my fair skin during cold months when we have so little sun. In short, I like it! I don’t know if I’ll repurchase the polish, but I’ll be using it in nail art for sure :)

Thank you for looking! Have a happy Friday ahead!;)
