Cappuccino water marble nails

Coffee cappuccino water marble nails

Seems like it’s been ages since I last did water marble nails. I love the nail art technique and at the same time I hate it.

Water marbling is tricky, and more often than not it’s a hit or miss for me. If you do everything right you’ll get a great nail design with amazingly smooth and crisp colour blocking lines. On the other hand some mess and clean up are guaranteed no matter what defenders, office tape you’ll use to protect your cuticles and skin. A good alternative to water marbling is dry water marbling, but it’s not the same.

For todays water marble nail design I used 2 nail polishes: a Dance Legend white creme and a milk coffee beige Golden Rose from their Rich Colour line. Both polishes behaved and marbled nicely. To protect my cuticles I used a defender: Pure Manicure by Dance Legend.

Thank you for looking! See you soon ;)

Same here, I admire others’ water marble nail art, but I rarely venture to do those designs myself!

  3. Really, really liking the result! Not so strong, not so typical, looking good. And even suits the office style :)
I have the same relationship with the watermarbling – love and hate, depending on the moment. Right now we have “quiet days” – I don’t marble, I don’t suffer from bad results ;)

      Thank you, Maria!

  5. At first I thought it was a negative space marbling! I love both the color-scheme and the result! The lines are so crisp and you seem to have captured some perfect patterns on your nails <3

Thank you Ina! I liked the final result too, but I had to redo a couple of nails to get the patterns I wanted :))
