About a month ago I was approached by Soufeel, a company that manufactures and sells Pandora compatible bracelets, charms, and other silver jewelry.
They offered to send me some of their products for review. Actually, it’s the second time I got a chance to work with Soufeel, and I was excited about it. They suggested to make a customised silver charm for me to wear on my Soufeel leather bracelet – I got the bracelet and a couple of Soufeel charms last year.
Soufeel customised, or memorable, silver charms are popular among their customers. It’s what differs Soufeel from Pandora and Chamilia. You simply choose a silver locket charm in the web catalog and send them a photo or any other image that you want to be printed and put inside the charm. I chose a heart shaped charm, and sent them one of my favourite photos of Kernel. Here’s what they made for me and Kernel:
And here’s the picture (in the frame) that I sent them in a format of JPEG file:
I was told they’d need 3-5 days to make the photo charm. When my charm was ready they sent it to me along with some other jewelry (I’ll review the rest of items next time). Overall it took Soufeel about 15 days to make and deliver the charm from China to Saint Petersburg, Russia. This is how the parcel looked when I opened it:
There were two yellow packages (containing a Soufeel gift box and the review products), a Soufeel gift bag, two black microfibre cleansing cloths for silver jewelry, and a SGS 925 sterling silver certificate. The certificate proves that Soufeel jewelry is made of fine silver:
Soufeel offers a 365-day return and exchange, if you are not satisfied with the quality of the jewelry items you received. In fact, on the website Soufeel states that “All our products are made of 100% 925 sterling silver. You will get 3 times of your order amount as compensation if you find any of them are not sterling silver.” Sounds convincing to me! Also, the charms I got last year were made of silver.
Now, let me show you my customised Kernel charm on the bracelet:
The memorable charm can be found here in the Charms section, currently its price is $19.95 and if your order is over $59.99 they’ll ship it for free worldwide. Soufeel offers several types of memorable charms, including cube charms and engravable heart shaped charms. I can see a lot of possibilities to customise such charms. You can put any image you want in the charm, not only your family, but also you favourite band, celebrity, book character, etc. Anything you like!
They gave me a 5% off coupon code “Review5” to share with my readers, so if you like any products on Soufeel website, feel free to use the code. Please, note that I won’t get any monetary compensation, but I’ll be happy if the coupon is of use to you :)
I decided to leave the back of the charm as it is, decorated with tiny crystals.
Overall, I liked my 925 silver charm and I’m satisfied with its quality. I think the photos show well how smooth and detailed it is. Like I said before, I’m not a romantic person, but I like the idea of having the Kernel charm :) I showed the charm to my cat, and even put the bracelet as a collar on him for a few seconds to take the pic:
I must say Kernel didn’t look very impressed with the charm, he was pretty much occupied with the Soufeel box. His love for all kinds of boxes never ends!
Well, that’s it for today, thank you for reading! Next time I’ll be reviewing some other Soufeel jewelry items that I got, and there will be nail art involved :)
PS: Please, tell me I’m not the only one who puts their pet’s photos in frames :D
