I’ve never been to an auto show before, so when I heard that soon there’ll be one taking place here in Saint Petersburg, I thought why not to go there with my friends.
In short it was lots of fun, and I took pics of the cars I liked most, but let me start with a manicure I did yesterday because it’s a nail blog in the first place! The pics above and below show a warm green Lumene Under the Birch in 2 coats, accompanied by floral water decals.
I’m still in two minds about the green colour, sometimes I like it and sometimes I think it’s too warm for a green, and it looks unpleasant. I don’t see myself wearing the Lumene solo. This time I added the tiny flowers. As for the formula, it’s simply wonderful! The polish is well pigmented and applies like a dream, mainly thanks to its wide brush with a rounded tip.
The white stripes are handprinted with a thin nail art brush and a white Dance Legend creme nail polish.
Here I’d be about to type “Thank you” and ‘See you soon” like I always do, but like I said before, I have some pics from the auto show to share with you. There were many modern sport cars there, but who hasn’t seen sport cars, right? I’d rather show you automobiles that caught my attention for one or another reason.
For starters, here’s an adorable mint & off white vintage car with a knitted roof lining. It looked so cute that I instantly fell in love with it! I’ll definitely do a nail art featuring the soft colour combination.
Here are two more cars that can easily inspire a nail art fan:
Random pics of vintage dashboards:
Look how old this car is! They didn’t even bother to paint it, or perhaps they did paint it, but in a peculiar way:
And this one is my other favorite exhibit, the car (of what’s left of it) reminded me of Mad Max’s post apocalyptic vehicles:
And finally, here’s two pics that give proof to the saying “There’s no such thing as bad roads, just the wrong cars” :)
Thank you for looking! I hope you liked the nail design, and the cars! Have you ever been to an auto show? :)
