AVON: Divine Lime & Iceberg White

AVON: Divine Lime & Iceberg White

Best thing I like about AVON polishes is their minimalistic design of rectangle shaped bottles. It’s easy to store them!

AVON nail polish comes in cute black boxes and that makes it look like a luxe nail polish brand. As for the prices, AVON wins hands down. This time I ordered 3 colours: a black creme Licorice, a white creme Iceberg White, and a green shimmer Divine Lime. I already swatched the black here, and today I have the other two polishes to show you.
The first one is Divine Lime, it’s so fresh and perfect for lifting the spirits! Perhaps a year or two ago I could say that Divine Lime was an unusual choice for me, but these days I think I’m starting to love green on my nails, especially for Spring. I often pay close attention to green colours in new collections.

Here’s a nail design I did to feature the polish:

Avon Divine Lime

Lime segments are hand painted with acrylic colours, and sealed with a glossy top. The polish itself is applied in 3 thin coats. I wish it was better pigmented, although the warm green colour compensates for the number of layers.

The second one is Iceberg White. It’s a polish from the new AVON Gel Finish line (at least the line is new to me). I like this white colour, it’s pure and a little bit off white.

The polish is applied in 3 thin coats, but in real life with no macro it looks OK in 2 coats too.

The black and white tips are done with MILV water decals, and sealed with a clear fast drying top.

I think I’ll get lots of use out of this white, because if you are into nail designs you are often in need of a good white nail polish.
That’s it for today, I hope you liked the manicures :)
