Simple black: AVON Licorice

AVON Lacorice

Black is one of those basic nail polish colors that I reach to on days I’m not sure what to do with my nails, or days I need a little break from nail art.

AVON Licorice

Today I have a black polish with a nice creme formula, AVON Licorice. Here’s its 10ml bottle and the box:

The pics show 2 coats of AVON Licorice over a clear ORLY base without a top coater. The polish is not super shiny, if you want a glass effect you’ll have to use a top. I like Licorice just as it is :)

Lacorice is a pure black with no shimmer or glitter added, the polish will be useful for nail designs. Too bad it’s not a one coater. The first coat was patchy, so I added the second one to get full opacity. I’ll try Licorice for stamping and tell you later whether it worked.

Thank you for looking!

I’m going to try Licorice for stamping soon :) My guess is it’ll work fine, although the pattern may come out a bit sheer.
      Thank you Andrea!

  2. I’m sure it’s a great one for nail art! Beautiful pictures :)
I’m reaching for white, pink and nudes when I want a break from nail art!
