Today’s look uses a classy red shimmer which I accented with black and negative space. The shimmer polish belongs to the Binary line of Dance Legend, and its name is Karina.
All DL Binary nail polishes are said to be long lasting, the bottle label promises us that the polish will last +3 days longer. I rarely care how long nail polish lasts, as long as it’s more than a day or two, because I’m easily got bored with a colour. I didn’t test Karina’s staying power, all I can say is that the polish behaved well for one day without chipping or tips fading.
On my nails I have two coats of Dance Legend Karina without a top coater. I wanted to show you how Karina looks in real life in daylight. Believe me, with a glossy top and under a proper lighting it’ll be a stunner! However, I like this red a lot as it is, the polish is a very good option if you are in the market for a classy evening red. It’s sophisticated and smooth looking.
I prefer to apply nail polish in thin fast drying coats, but Karina will be a one coater if you apply it a bit thicker.
For the negative space accent I needed a black Dance Legend creme nail polish and striping tape. The design is top coated with a clear top.
All nail polishes from the Binary line by Dance Legend can be found in their official web store here, the price is $10.00 per one 15ml bottle.
The polish was sent to me for reviewing along with some other Dance Legend colors that have been released recently. Also, I got a lovely box with a big bow as a bonus (I took a pic of it before I opened it):
In the box I found 3 DL nail polish shaped soap bars! How cute are those?! I loved this little present a lot! Now I can not only paint my nails with polish but also wash my hands with it! :D The soap is of the exactly same size as Dance Legend standard 15ml nail polish bottles. Even the colors match!
Thank you for looking! See you soon :)
