Every time I get a nail mail from Dance Legend I find a couple of nail care products among the polishes. This time I got a nail&cuticle oil and a cuticle remover. Today I’d love to show you the oil, I’ve been testing it for more than a week now.
Let’s have a closer look at the 15ml bottle:
You apply the oil with a brush that looks like a standard DL nail polish brush:
According to the label Mix Me Watermelon oil contains: mineral oil, glycerin, propylene glycol, triisononanoin, diisopropyl adipate, cetearyl ethylhexanoate, isopropyl myristate, watermelon extract, parfum, CI 45380, CI 59040.
Must be honest with you, chemistry is not my cup of tea and the long words above frighten me a little, but I know some of you may be interested in the contents :) If you see anything bad or miswritten, please let me know!
Once I apply the oil, I simply use my finger to rub it in around my cuticles. The watermelon scent of the product is quite pleasant and not very strong, it doesn’t bother me at all.
I cannot say I noticed any difference in the state of my cuticles. My nails/cuticles didn’t get from dry to nourished etc. but only because they were ok when I started using the DL Mix Me oil. One thing I can say for sure: nothing bad happened to my nails and cuticles, they are just like they used to be before the Watermelon oil :)
Will I continue using the oil? Yes, absolutely. Any chance I’ll repurchase it? Maybe, if I am not able to find offline my regular nail care oil that I’m so used to.
Like I said, the oil I got has a cute watermelon scent, but there are also Mix Me nail oils with passion fruit and peach scents. Each 15ml bottle is for $9 and the oils can be found here in the Dance Legend official web store.
Thank you for looking! I hope you liked the watermelon hand painted nail design I did to make the post more interesting for you ;)
I found so great that your nails were inspired by the sent of the oil, you made a cute nail art.
Great review!
