Shimmer Eva

Shimmer Eva

Eva is one of those polishes that are unique in a special kind of way. It’s a red jelly based black and silver micro glitter with a semi sand texture. I know you’ve seen lots of red sands/glitters and so have I, but somehow the polish feels different.

In the pics I have 2 coats of Shimmer Eva with a top coat. The polish can stain your nails, so a base is a must (I’d advise you to use a peel off base for easier removal later), and if you don’t want it to feel sand-y just add an extra coat of a top. The polish will shine brightly and the red base will become even more jelly-like.

Here’s a macro of Shimmer Eva (2 coats topped with a clear top), where you can see its black and silver glitters:

And here’s Eva in a bright artificial lighting, applied over a black creme base:

Shimmer Polish has its own Facebook page here, where you can find lots of swatches.

  1. I like these kind of jelly based polishes. The effect of them are quite nice on the nails!

Yes, it is:) I used to dislike jelly nail polishes for the VNL they usually give, but nowadays I often find myself reaching for jellies :)
