This weekend I got a nail mail from Dance Legend with some really nice colors they recently released. Yesterday night I started swatching and today I’m gonna show you the first polish from the bunch. It’s a dark green holo called August, or Серпень in Ukrainian.
The polish belongs to the Winter 2015/2016 collection designed by Anna Gorelova for Dance Legend. Dance Legend is a Russian brand of nail polishes and nail care products, and Anna is a Ukrainian beauty blogger, hence the Ukrainian name of the polish. The collection has 12 nail polishes overall, named after 12 months. I got two colors from the collection for reviewing and both came in cute grey boxes.
On my nails I have Dance Legend August applied in 2 coats over Dance Legend AQUAgenetic base, and topped with a fast drying Dance legend top coater.

Серпень/August is a dark warm green holographic with a jelly-like formula. Anna writes that she was inspired by dew drops on the dark green morning grass, and by bright stars on the dark evening sky that are so typical for August in Eastern Europe. I think she managed to convey the atmosphere of August mornings and nights really well.
I don’t have similar holographics in my collection to compare the polish with, and it’s good – the less dupes the better!
