Black lace and red glitter

Black lace and red glitter nail design

The off white based glitter, that I used for today’s nail design, belongs to the Jolly Jewels line by Golden Rose.

The polish is N110 and it’s more than two years old, I remember the Jolly Jewels were quite popular back then. The formula thickened up too much after the years, which resulted in clumping. I tried to be careful while applying the glitter in one thin coat over a white base.

The torn lace is water decals, applied over the glitter and sealed with a clear top.

I’m thinking of throwing the polish away, because it’s clearly lost its attractiveness together with the “freshness”, and I doubt I’ll use it again. The more free space in my stash the better ;)

Thank you for looking! See you soon :)

Thank you Eliza :) White-red-black is a classy combo indeed :)

  3. I have the same problem with some bottles of Golden Rose Jolly Jewels and I’m sorry to throw them away… but maybe I need some free space in my stash for some new things! :-) :-)
Beautiful manicure, I love the final effect! :-)

Yeah, the Jewels line had some really nice color glitters, too bad their quality wasn’t great. i remember they were quite thick even when still new..

  4. I really liked GR Jolly Jewels polishes, before I noticed that with the years they get really thick. I have to mention that I never used these one on a white base though I like what I see on your nails a lot and I may have to try it too!
I want to wish you all the best for this new year, because this is my first visit in 2016!

Yeah, same here.. Beautiful glitters (and cheap!) but with not-that-easy-to-apply formulas :)
Thank you Andrea! Best wishes to you too! <3
