Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure 560 Kook-A-Mango

They say you cannot have too many red nail polishes. I don’t wear reds very often, but I buy a new bottle of the color once in a while anyways :) A couple of weeks ago I got this one on sale, the color is Kook-A-Mango from Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure line.

Kook-A-Mango is not a neon but still it is bright enough to catch the eye. The color is red, coral, or even somewhat orange depending on the light, although most of the time it’s a vibrant red. I love such reds in winter when my skin is pale, they look so bright and cheerful!

On my nails I have Sally Hansen Kook-A-Mango in two easy coats with a top coater.

The formula is good, the Mango applies evenly and is opaque in two coats. However if you are ok with VNL and a bit transparent finish, you can stop after the first coat.

The thing that I loved most about the polish is the brush. It’s wide and the tip is rounded, just how I like it. Two or three strokes for each nail and no clean ups :)

The accent nails are done with Essie Blanc (white base), Sally Hansen Black Out (sponged) and red tape water decals.
