Mei Mei, the creator of Moo Moo’s Signatures indie nail polish brand recently released a new collection of pastel creme shimmers and one brown holo. She dedicated it to her tiny handmade wool needled groundhog Linda, that’s why the collection is named L.I.N.D.A. Today I’d love to show you two polishes from the collection, a pink Ladylike Eyeshadow and a mint Don’t Take Lollipop from Stranger.
First let’s see how Ladylike Eyeshadow looks like in the bottle a bit closer:
Moo Moo’s Signatures brushes are very comfortable to work with, especially considering the fact that they are not very wide and haven’t got that rounded-tip feature. Still I’ve never had any issues when applying Moo Moo’s polishes, and I’ve never needed any clean up :)
Ladylike Eyeshadow is described as a pink nail polish with creme formula, containing tiny blue to pink flakes, medium to large fine sterling silver flakes, and silver holo glitters. The pics below show 3 thin coats of Moo Moo’s Signatures Ladylike Eyeshadow with a clear top coater.
The holography effect is better seen in the artificial lighting, while in daylight the polish mainly shows off its big sterling silver flakes against the girly pink base. I’d say that Ladylike Eyeshadow is a girly Eyeshadow :)
Here’s a nail art I did with the pink holo shimmer and water decals:
The second polish for today is Don’t Take Lollipop from Stranger from the same collection:
Don’t Take Lollipop from Stranger it’s a very cute mint nail polish with gold shimmer, tiny green flakies and gold holo dust.
Its creme formula is very good, in the pics below I have 3 thin coats of the Lollipop with a clear top coater, but I think it’s possible to get away with just 2 coats if you apply them thicker. Drying time is fast enough.
Here’s a macro showing the golden dust:
I paired Don’t Take Lollipop from Stranger with a pastel glitter Sherbet from the same brand, the glitter is applied in 1 thin coat:
Overall, both polishes turned out to be very nice. My favorite would be Don’t Tale Lollipop from Stranger, I must confess I fell in love with the soft mint as soon as I saw it. The formula of the mint Lollipop is very good, and even the pink Ladylike Eyeshadow applied decently for a pastel creme based nail polish. Both polishes can be found at the official Moo Moo’s web store here, the price is 16.00 SGD per bottle.
Next time I’ll show you the rest of the L.I.N.D.A collection, so see you soon ;)
Thank you for looking! xxx
I love both of them! That gold glitter looks amazing!
Both of them are really beautiful, my favourite is Don’t Take Lollipop from Stranger :-)
