In my previous post I showed you one of two newly released Moo Moo’s Signatures nail polishes called Moo Spell. Today it’s time to show you the second color called Monster in the Woods, a not-so-ordinary brown:
I don’t have many brown polishes and I rarely wear them (if only in autumn), but the Monster stands out for its uniqueness. It has lots of turquoise shimmer and holographic gold dust, which makes this brown very appealing to me, and the Monster is a welcome addition to my collection.
Here I have a macro of Monster in the Woods to show you the teal shimmer:
Without a top coater the polish looks a bit dull and its shimmer is not that visible. Once you apply a top you see how beautiful the brown really is, and how vibrant yet delicate its shimmer is :) In the pic below I have two medium coats of the Monster with a clear top coat.
The polish was inspired by MeiMei’s Monster from the story about the Moo Spell flower. The brown is available here, it’s priced at SGD 16.00, the web store offers worldwide shipping.
For the nail art in the first pic I used two coats of Monster in the Woods, then I sponged teal glitter by ULTA over the base and hand painted leaves with a white acrylic paint.
Thank you for looking! xxx
PS: Some amazing Moo Moo’s pastels are on their way to me, so you’ll see more from this cute indie nail brand soon ;)
Love the color and the nail art.. It looks great on your hands.
