Wow, that’s a lot of “moo” for a title! I guess you’ve heard of Mei Mei’s Signatures, a well known indie nail polish online shop based in Singapore. The owner of the shop, Mei Mei have recently started her own nail polish line called Moo Moo’s Signatures. I was lucky to get 6 of her polishes for review, and today I’d love to show you 3 of the colors:
Let me start with a classy rich red called Moo’s ♥:
Yep, the name of the polish ends with a heart symbol:
Mei Mei describes Moo’s ♥ as a “red crelly with tiny gold-coral and pink-ruby flakies”. I have nothing to add to the description except that the red is of a very good quality.
In the pics I have 2 coats of Moo’s ♥ with a clear base/top. It’s almost ok in 1 coat, but if you want depth you’ll need to add the second coat.
Next is a vibrant blue titled Once in a Blue Moo-n:
Just like the first one from the trio, the polish has a bottom label with its name hand written on it:
Once in a Blue Moo-n is a bright blue crelly with color shifting tiny flakes. In the pics below the polish is applied in 2 coats and topped with a clear fast drying top.
The macro shows the shimmering effect:
And finally, the last Moo Moo’s for today:
The label says that the polish is called Mossy:
One of the cases when name speaks for itself. The color of the polish reminds me of forest moss, but that must be a magical forest, because the moss is holographic.
The holography is subtle, it’s hardly visible in the shade, and even in the sun or proper artificial lighting the holo effect is very delicate.
Mossy is my favorite from the trio, partially because olive green colors are quite unusual for my collection, and I doubt I have any dupes for this one. I wore the polish for 2 days, and I even paired the color with jeans and red suede shoes. I know it may sound like a strange combo, but I enjoyed the look anyways :)
I’m very pleased with the olive green color and with the quality – the polish didn’t chip at all.
Mossy, Moo’s and Once in a Blue Moo-n, together with the rest Moo Moo’s Signatures polishes can be found in the official web store here. The prices are around $16-18 and the polishes are big3free.
Thank you for reading! ♥
They look wonderful, my favourite is Blue Moo-n :-)
and I surprisingly fell for Mossy, which is really strange :D
Red and blue are my favorites, mossy one not so much
Oh I wasn’t sure about the red, but I knew you’ll like the Blue Moo-n! :D
