Black and white are essential colors for all nail art lovers including myself. Whenever I have a chance to try a new white or black nail polish I jump at it. That’s why today I’m showing you these basic colors with creme texture that I chose to review from a new Dance Legend collection of Gel Effect nail polishes.
Sadly the polishes don’t have names, the black goes under the number 1099 and the white is 1094, like it’s said on their bottom labels.
The white is well pigmented, I needed 2 medium coats to reach full opacity, and the brush was comfortable to work with. I wouldn’t say it’s the best white I tried in terms of application, but the polish sure is of a good quality. I’ll be using it often for nail art.
For this nail art I needed the white creme by Dance Legend, acrylic pains and a holo micro glitter Ultima by Starrily for some extra sparkle.
The black creme is very good too, almost as good and pigmented as my favorite Nevermore by Cult Nails. On the other hand, Cult Nails are closing on May, 23 which means I’ll need to find my new fav black creme nail polish.
The b&w nail art below features both Dance Legend cremes.
The black polish is applied in 2 thin coats, and topped with a clear fast drying top coater.
The polishes were sent to me for review by Dance Legend. Thank you for looking, and I hope you liked the designs :)

I’m loving the floral design! The other one looks interesting, even elegant I might say :)
Beautiful :) As always! I love the b&w design for its simplicity and elegance. The floral design is ultra feminine!
Thank you :) I love the classic combo of black and white, it’s very versatile :)
A perfect black and white polish are essential colors for us, indeed. I love both of your nail art, the first one is playful and the second one extremely chic.
Thank you Andrea! xxx
That flowery look is so graphic and striking!
Thank you Jessica!
Both are so pretty, in different ways! Love them!
Thank you dear :)
I like both designs, I simply adore black & white combinations… :-)
Me too, you cannot go wrong with black and white duo :)
great review! always love classic black and whites.
I have a question: did you try stamping with them? what is their stampability?
Thank you :)
No, I haven’t tried to stamp with the polishes. I rarely stamp.. The black polish is well pigmented, so I think it’ll work for stamping, but I’m not sure about the white.
