For me ikat is one of those go to patterns when I want a cute but effortless design on my nails. The pattern goes with many styles and what is more important, it doesn’t require precision. Ikat is supposed to look a bit blurry and not perfect.
This time I used a white creme by EVA Mosaic for the white base, and the ikat pattern itself is hand painted with gray and salmon acrylic paints. The finishing touch: I added a coat of a glossy top to seal the design.

This is lovely. Both the colors and design are pretty yet not in your face and look to be office friendly. I’m going to have to try this. I really love the Ikat pattern.
