Today I have a pair of colors from the Dance Legend Binary collection to show you, but first let me share with you a nail design I did using the polishes:
For the water marble design I used Dance Legend Svetlana and Irina.
In the 2 pics above and below you can see a bottle of Svetlana #28, a muted brown purple creme with glossy finish.
On my nails I have 2 medium coats of Dance Legend Svetlana, and that was a base for the nail art.
Here’s a quick swatch sticks comparison, L-R we have OPI We’ll Always Have Paris, Dance Legend Svetlana, OPI Wooden Shoe Like to Know, and OPI Gouda Gouda Two Shoes:
And now let’s move on to the second Binary #23 that I used for the nail art. It’s name is Irina, and it’s a light pastel pink:
The bottle is the same:
I added lace water decals in the half moon manner to complete the soft girly pink look.
The formula of the pink creme is actually quite good, though I wouldn’t say it’s perfect. I needed 3 thin layers to reach full opacity, and I top coated the design to seal the decals.
I did a comparison for this one too :) In the picture below L-R we have: OPI Mod About You, OPI My Very First Knockwurst, ORLy Pure Porcelain, Dance Legend Irina, and Essie Need a Vacation.
Overall, both polishes (just like other Binary colors) have nice formulas, and super glossy finish. The cremes are well pigmented and therefore can be used for nail art, I’ve successfully tried them for water marbling and sponging.
Thank you for looking! I have 2 more polishes from the Binary collection to show you, so I see you soon! Meanwhile, feel free to visit Dance Legend’s Facebook page, they update it on a regular basis :)
I love the mani where you combined the two, it’s really beautiful!
Thank you Maria! :)
