Parallax is a bright red glitter from the Dance Legend Round Space collection. The collection consists of 6 jelly based nail polishes that can be used either as tops or on their own.
Dance Legend Parallax has a warm red tinted base and is full of microglitter and also large sized holographic round glitter.
Like many red polishes Parallax needs a bit of extra care in its application, but the brush is wide and comfortable. Great thing about the polish, however, is that you don’t have to place any of the glitters or fish for them. Just brush on and it all will cover well and balanced.
Here I have 2 coats of DL Parallax that dried relatively quickly although the end result was quite rough. The negative side of the glitter is that it’s a top coat eater. In the pics I’m wearing 1 thick coat of my usual glossy top and obviously it would have looked better if I’d added an extra coat.
Overall, Parallax is a nice red glitter that stands out because of its large round holo glitter. It’s very similar to the other red glitter from the Round Space collection, Inception – you can find my photos of it here. Although these two are not dupes, personally I don’t see a reason to buy both of them. I think I’d prefer Parallax, because it seems to look more interesting, and the base is slightly more vivid.
Parallax and Inception are priced at $9 and can be found here, as well as in some other online stores like Llarowe.
Thank you for looking!
