In my previous post I promised you more swatches of the gorgeous F.U.N Lacquer holiday 2014 collection. So here I am with the second pair where both polishes are called Poinsettia and the difference between them is in their textures.
In the pictures above and below I have the holographic Poinsettia in 2 coats:
The color of this one magically shifts through vibrant hues of a rusty red, copper, gold and green. The red prevails, and golden sparkles add even more festivity to the polish.
Now let me show you a macro shot of the original version of Poinsettia in 2 coats:
As you can see the finish of the multichrome Poinsettia is silky and smooth, while the holo has a kind of sand touch.
The multichrome flashes red, bronze, gold and green… it’s like Christmas in a bottle! I must say, this Poinsettia has an amazing color shift, with the rusty red being the main hue.
Best part of the deal is that both Poinsettias are 5-free which means they don’t contain Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Toluene, Camphor, Formaldehyde, and Formaldehyde Resin. I wore the polishes without a base and they didn’t stain my nails.
If you ask me which one of the Christmas polishes I liked most, I’d say the holo. I find the strong color shift of the multichrome very attractive, but the holo Poinsettia is simply mesmerising! Its mixture of holography, sandy texture and red-to-green color shift makes the polish perfect to wear for the magical Christmas night :)
The pictures were done in a natural daylight, so if you want to see Poinstettia in artificial lighting, you can find more images of it at F.U.N Lacquer official website here.
Thank you for looking! xxx
Well, same by me. My favorite one is the holographic.
