ILNP Fall 2014: Peace (H)

If I was participating in the 31 Day Challenge that is going on this September on many blogs I follow, I’d use Peace to create a manicure for the Galaxy nails day. The polish would make a wonderful background for stamped or painted stars.

When you wear Peace it’s like you have 10 tiny universes on the tips of your fingers :) The color constantly shifts from purple to blue, pink and copper.

The letter H in the name of the polish stands for holography, and the holographic effect is rather string. The holo particles in Peace remind me of distant stars, especially if to look closer:

The pics here show 3 thin coats of ILNP Peace (H) with a clear fast drying top. Actually, it’s easy to get away with just 2 coats and no top coating, because the polish is well pigmented, and it has its own shiny reflective finish. I did 3 coats only because I knew I’ll be taking pics for the blog, and I had to use the top as I didn’t have time to wait for my nails to dry.

The polish was created as a part of the I Love Nail Polish (ILNP) collection for Fall 2014. As always, here’s a bottle pic of the liquid Universe Peace and its bottom label:

The full ILNP Fall 2014 collection is available here, it consists of 11 shades and sells for $120. If sold separately, most of the polishes cost $10 per bottle, and Peace being a holo is for $12.50 (in my experience holographic nail polishes are always a bit more expensive).
