A mix of dots, rainbow colors and funky french tips for the Oh Mon Dieu Part 2 Challenge/Giveaway. I decided to list the manicure under Day 11: Rainbow nail design.
I must say it’s only for the OMD Challenge that I used so many bright colors at once, as you can see I only skipped light blue from the rainbow color range. As a rule I tend to use no more than 3-4 contrasting shades in a manicure, trying to avoid the unwanted “too much” effect. However I liked the natural combo of 6 rainbow colors over white :)
For the rainbow french nails I needed:
- OPI Alpine Snow – white base color
- OPI On Collins Ave – coral red dots
- Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Blue Me Away – bright blue dots
- Golden Rose Rich Color #36 – green dots
- OPI Dutch Ya Just Love OPI? – purple dots
- Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Sun Kisses – orange dots
- OPI I Just Can’t Cope-Acabana – yellow dots
- Clear glossy top
Thank you for looking! :)

Simple yet so pretty because of the colors!
Yep, the colors are so in harmony with the summer weather we have here now!
I like it! :-) These days also I tried some kind of rainbow manicure, but it’s much different from yours and made completely with acrylic colours! :-)
I’d love to see your version of rainbow nails :) I love using acrylic paints for nail art, but I found it easier to do dots with nail polishes instead :)
Such a beautiful dotticure!
Thank you Ina :)

I love the beady look of these, they look like you strung colorful necklaces right over your nails!

:) oh do try and show us! the dots are easy to do, and as you can see my dots aren’t all of equal size, but it’s not that noticeable in rl :)
