It’s not often I post nail art tape manicures, as I prefer to draw thin lines by hand, but still, I cannot deny how useful the tape is in color blocking nail art.
The polishes I used for the nail look are Need a Vacation (light pink) and Blanc (pure white), both by Essie.
First I painted my nails with Blanc (3 coats) and waited for them to dry. Next I applied nail art tape in the middle of each nail, and colored the tips light pink with Need a Vacation. Then I removed the tape, and got even boundaries between two colors. However, the manicure looked quite simple, so I added new pieces of the pink tape :)
For the accent fingernails I used Orly Dazzle, a silver foil nail polish. The polish didn’t get into the pics, but it doesn’t change the fact that Dazzle is one of my most favorite silvers.
Finally, one more pic of the pink and white nails in a different setting. I asked Dennis to take the photo of me for a little “project”, and I thought I’ll share it here with you too :)
I hope you liked the design! :) See you ♥

Thank you! :)
Simple but effective design, I like it! :-)
Thank you dear :) I’m glad you liked the design!
I totally agree with the tape! I love how it completes the look!
Glad you liked it, I think the nail art tape adds some festivity to the otherwise bold look :)
Looks so pretty and clean. :)
Thank you dear! :)
This is simple, but totally sophisticated and gorgeous!
Thank you Jayne! I’m glad you liked the color block nail look :)
Need a Vacation is a great color with a great name :D I love the manicure it’s so feminine and nice :D
Yes it is indeed :) Another great thing about the design is that it was easy to do it on both hands thanks to the striping tape :)
This looks so elegant and classy!
