Jamberry nail wraps in Pickled Paisley

A month ago I was contacted by a Jamberry nail wraps consultant Ali, who kindly offered me a few nail wrap samples for reviewing.

I admit lately I’ve been using different kinds of nail wraps quite often, and I couldn’t miss the opportunity to try a new brand. Ali mailed me the samples in a regular size envelope, and I got them safely in 3 weeks.

Overall I got 7 different patterns, and today I’m showing you one of my favorites – an abstract paisley design done in contrasting bright colors.

I decided to make framed accents, so first I painted the accent fingernails black with Cult Nails Nevermore, and then I applied the wraps over the black base in a ruffian style.

The wraps were very easy to use. I simply cut the wraps in two, and peeled the halves off from the transparent base. Then I pressed them onto the nails one by one, and trimmed the excess off the tips with scissors.. That was pretty much it :)

The nail wraps I used for the accents are Pickled Paisley, if you are interested you can find them here. A full sheet of 18 wraps is $15.00 and currently they are Buy 3, Get 1 free! The wraps are 39mm long, so unless you have long acrylic stilettos, you’ll be able to use 1 wrap for 2 nails (it worked for my nails).

Jamberry promises their nail wraps will last up to 2 weeks on fingers and 4 weeks on toes. It sounds impressive, though I wouldn’t be able to wear one manicure that long. The wraps stayed perfectly fine on my nails for almost two days until I removed them. I liked the quality of the paisley Jamberry nail wraps, and now I’m looking forward to try the rest of the samples I got. Hopefully I’ll find more ways to use them in nail art :)

Thank you for looking! See you xxx
