As they say ‘I love graffiti when it’s not on my property’. Well, today I have graffiti on my nails! For this look I chose a black and white graffiti water decals and a white creme nail polish.
I got the decals from Moon Sugar Decals for review. They sent them to me in a postal envelope – the sheet is 5 1/2″ x 3″ and it looks like this:
Actually you might have already seen the purple graffiti pattern from this water decals set in one of my previous posts here. That time I was swatching Zoya’s Petra and I decided I’d try the decals too. For today’s look I used Essie Blanc for the white base color.
Moon Sugar decals can be used on natural or artificial nails. For natural nails, you’ll need to apply a base coat first, and as for acrylic nails – no base is required. For best results it’s recommended to use the decals over a white or light colored nails.
4 easy steps for application:
- Cut the decal to fit the nail.
- Place your decal in a bowl of warm water. It will curl up and then straighten out again. Once the decal is laying flat again, it’s ready to slide off the paper and onto your nail.
- Place the decal straight onto your nail in desired position.
- Dab dry with a tissue and finish with a layer of clear top coat to seal.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen graffiti nail decals before, and I was glad to find out that Moon Sugar created not one but several sets of graffiti themed decals for nail art lovers like myself :) I love graffiti in general when it’s positive and interesting. I’m not saying we all go buy a can of spray paint, but if you want a “rebel” manicure, graffiti nail design may be the answer.
You can find the graffiti decals in the Moon Sugar Decals online store here. Currently the sheet of 16 decals costs $3.99 with free shipping if you live in the US. Worldwide shipping is $2.99 for unlimited sheets. Also, you can find Moon Sugar on Facebook.
Thank you for looking! See you xxx
