Beige daisies with CND Svelte Suede

February 4th, 2014 | Posted by Mari in Flowers & leaves

Today’s color is a soft beige Svelte Suede from CND Vinylux line. It’s been on my nails since Sunday, and this morning I updated my manicure to a floral design:

Nude nails with flowers

Svelte Suede is positioned as a weekly nail polish, at CND they say it will stay on your nails for 7 days. Personally for me, the staying power like this is not so interesting, because usually I change my nails every 2-3 days, but it’s just me and I know many girls who would want their manicures to last longer. Before I continue, let me show you Svelte Suede in its 15ml bottle:

CND Vinylux is something between a regular nail polish and a gel nail polish. Vinylux must be applied like nail polish on naked nails, no base needed. The polish will form a durable vinyl-like texture on your nails. Then you seal the color with the CND special topcoat, wait for 8 to 10 minutes and — voilà! — you have a high-tech long lasting manicure, that you did at home :) Like I said, it’s the 3rd day I’m wearing Svelte Suede and I don’t see any chipping so far. I like this nude, it’s not too yellowish or too cold, and suits my skin tone just fine. However, this morning I decided I need a change and I ended up with the floral manicure I’m showing you here.

The beige base here is CND Vinylux Svelte Suede #124, and the daisies are painted with acrylic paints.

Best thing I liked about Svelte Suede is the color, it’s a great nude for any occasion, office friendly and neat. CND Vinylux nail polishes can be found online at Beyond Polish webstore, currently most of the colors cost $4.95 By the way, be sure to check out other categories there, you’ll find Zoya, OPI, Essie, China Glaze and other brands. The prices are good there:)

Thank you for looking :) See you soon!
