Dance Legend #094 Boo

Yesterday I was planning to do some nail art for a change, but what we plan is not always what we eventually do… and what we do, we do not always intend to do. To keep the story short, I wasn’t going to show you yet another Dance Legend swatch. Still, here I am wearing a multichrome nail polish called Boo:

Dance Legend #094 Boo

The polish was released for Autumn 2013 with Dance Legend Chameleon collection of mutlichromes. Here’s the color in its 6.5ml bottle:

Dance Legend Boo

The bottle is rather small, see for yourself:

One of my dear readers asked me about safety of Dance Legend products. I’m not good at chemistry, so instead of writing all the ingredients, I took a quick photo of the contents which is written in English.

And now back to the color – Boo is totally an autumn nail polish. It does look like a chameleon, and it shifts from red to orange to green. When I look at my nails it usually shows a red / rusty orange color, and when I look at them at an angle I can see a warm green.

Application was very good despite of the thin round brush (it’s obviously not my type of brushes). The first coat was quite sheer, the second one was almost enough, and the third one made it all perfect. Overall, the polish builds up easily and dries fast. All the pictures I’m showing here are 3 thin coats, no base or top coat.

I paired Boo with my newly bought knitted cardigan that plays background role in the pics. It’s fairly cold in Saint Petersburg now, so both the cardigan and the polish kept me warm :D

You can find Boo and the rest of of the polishes from the Dance Legend Multichrome collection here, the polish retails for $8.00

Thank you for reading! Have a good day/evening :)

This looks a lot like my favorite fall polish the Sally Hansen’s Lustre Shine in Lava. Mine has a gold shift but not quite as green shifting as yours. That is one beautiful polish! I love color shifting goodness.

I don’t have Lava, but I’ve googled for Lava’s swatches, and you are right – they do look like the same :) Perhaps Lava is a tiny bit different because of its more sparkling finish.. and both polishes are amazing!

  4. Such a lovely effect!! I love duochromes!

  8. is one is much prettier :D And the duochrome effect is so strong :D

hehe good to know ;) the effect is really strong, taking into account that the swatches were done in the naturally weak winter daylight.
