This is my second attempt at microbeads nails. I tried the nail art trend a few months ago, and it didn’t turn out as nice as I expected, so I left the idea… until now.
First of all, here’s a macro of colorful microbeads I used for the nail design:
When I tried microbeads design for the first time, I decorated my accent nails with them. I didn’t like that look, and I didn’t post it. The accent nails “thanks” to the beads looked bigger than the rest of the nails, and the whole manicure was too awkward and unbalanced. I removed the beads without even taking pics of the nails.
This time I tried smaller beads, and I applied them on all of my nails in a triangular style. This way I got a texture of micro beads, without making my nails look too big and rough. I enjoyed wearing the beads, they looked quite lovely from a standard hand-to-face distance.
The background color is Sinful Colors Sugar N Spice – a vibrant pink with an extremely subtle shimmer, applied in 3 thin coats over a clear base. The microbeads triangles are designed with tape.
Overall, I’m happy that I didn’t give up the idea and tried the microbeads nail design again. I will sure use the beads for my future nail art experiments :)
Thank you for looking! See you ;)
This looks so pretty! That “caviar” is super fun :)
Thank you Roxy :)
Aww, awww that is so adorable – great idea :)
Thank you Maria :)
I love the way you’ve placed the micro beads :)
Thank you Ina :) I’m glad you liked the micro beads design :)
Very nice manicure! .-) I love beads and I love working with them! :-)
Thank you dear :) Microbeads can be used in so many nail designs!
Yay you finally made caviar manicure, well at least your version of it :D it’s nice to do it like this, and base color is pretty but three coats, it would be better if it was two
Yes I did indeed! :)) and this time I thought this design is good enough to post it here. I think it’s possible to wear just 2 coats of Sugar N Spice, if you make them a bit thicker.
I think this is pretty, although I probably wouldn’t wear it-I’m sure I’d pick off all the beads before they even dried!
