I found this blue on sale the other day, and could not leave it behind. That’s how I wore the polish yesterday:
It’s my first nail polish from Maybelline’s redesigned Colorama line. I must say I like their new round bottles and flat brushes much better. Here’s a bottle shot:
Colorama #80 is a vibrant medium blue with light blue and purple metallic shimmer. What I like most about the polish is that the shimmer that is so obvious in the bottle doesn’t disappear on my nails. Although it sparkles more in the sun, it’s equally beautiful in the shade.
The polish is opaque in 2 coats, and the formula is actually very good for the price. It’s not too thick or too thin, no dragging, pulling, or pooling to the edges. I used the polish over a clear base to prevent staining, and I top coated it with a fast drying glossy top to make the shimmer even more visible.
The flowers are freehand painted with white acrylic paint and the blue Colorama #80. The grey base color on the accent nail is Essence Got A Secret from their old Color and Go line.
Thank you for looking! :)

Oh I need this blue :D I can’t believe I didn’t already spot it in the store. And I like the accent :D
Yep, same with me. I think the polish was released about a year ago, and I found it only now! :))
