In the beginning of the month I told you about the OMD Nail Art Challenge & Giveaway that is running from July 1st to the 31st. I’ve already done some of the OMD themes, and for the Day 20: 3D Nails, I decided to try white 3D flowers that I got from the Born Pretty Store:
The flowers come in a small zip lock plastic bag. For $2.81 you get 10 pieces, which is more than enough for a manicure. Moreover, the flowers are reusable :) You can actually use them not only for nail art but for any other decoration purposes.
The flowers are relatively big, about 8 mm in diameter and 4 mm in height. Thanks to the double layer petals they don’t look flat.
White nail decorations go great with almost any nail polish, so I simply chose one of my favorite combos – pastel lilac, dark purple and silver.
The products I used for the 3D nail art:
- Lumene First Spring – pastel lilac creme (2 coats)
- Rimmel Sir, Yes Sir! – dark purple creme for stripes
- Orly Dazzle – my fav silver nail polish
- Sally Hansen Disco Ball – holo micro glitter in a clear base, here I used it as a top
- White 3D flowers on my accent nails
I thought the flowers might be too large and therefore easy to knock off of the nails, but they are not. During the day I have bumped my accent nails many times, and these cute flowers are still going strong. I’m even planning to wear the manicure tomorrow as well :)
You can find these white 3D flowers from the Born Pretty Store here for $2.81 with free international shipping. The code MARIX31 will give you additional 10% off your total order :)
At the Born Pretty Store they have a great variety of nail art and beauty accessories at affordable prices – I cannot think of anything nail art related that they don’t have!
Thank you for reading, and till next time xxx

I love reusable things! The flower is so pretty and it completes the manicure perfectly :)
Thank you Ina :)
I probably would try to tear off that beautiful flower – but the mani is gooorgeous!!!
hehe :)) Thank you Maria, It’s good to know you like the design with the flower! :)
Lovely manicure I like the irregular stripes. The flower is a little too big, but ok for maybe a special occasion :)
Thank you dear :) Yes, the flower is quite big, and considering its size it’s better use it as a single nail decoration, I used only two flowers for the manicure, for left and right accents. They attract attention, it’s for sure :)
Wow! so pretty- and your photographs are gorgeous!
Thank you, Jacqui :)
