I rarely do water marbling, because it always means a lot of mess to clean up. However this time I got curious about how my two Dance Legend holos will look together if combined in this kind of design. The polishes are both one coaters with great formulas and no streaking issues.
The pink holo is Dance Legend Shock, I posted its swatches here, and the blue one is Dance Legend High Voltage, you can find its swatches in this post. Before doing the water marbling thing, I applied a coat of OPI Alpine Snow, just to be sure that the colors will be vivid enough.
Since we are talking about holography, here’s a pic of the manicure in the sun :)
These Dance Legend holo nail polishes turned out to be very good for water marbling. They spread easily inside each other without bubbles. Also, thanks to their high pigmentation there’s is a nice contrast, and the borders between the colors are crisp.
Overall, I’m happy with the result, I just wish there weren’t that much mess with water, tape, and nail polish on the skin and cuticles…
As always, thank you for reading ♥
