Usually glitter nail polishes are bright and vibrant. Usually but not always – Jennifer is a special pastel glitter, I have nothing like this one in my collection :)
Jennifer is a unique mix of tiny light blue and light purple glitters with large orange/yellow and black hex glitters in a clear base. Bottle shot:
Here’s the pastel glitter mix behind the glass :
… and on the swatch stick (3 thin coats, no top):
Jennifer can easily be layered over almost any color. I saw how perfect it is over light blue and grey, and how delicate it becomes when applied over nude or pink.
Today let’s try a different background for this special glitter :) I chose a plain white creme OPI Alpine Snow as a base, and I stamped a square pattern on my nail tips with Konad black. Black stamping is because of those black hexes that stand out in the pastel glitter mix.
The products I needed for this nail look:
- OPI Alpine Snow
- Konad black stamping nail polish
- Konad m61 plate
- Shimmer Jennifer
- Clear base
Shimmer nail polishes, including Jennifer, can be found on Etsy, and they are also available by email through the Shimmer Polish website.
As always, thank you for reading :) and have a good weekend! xxx

Amazing manicure! I love how you’ve blended the stamping with the glitter!
Thank you Ina :) I was looking for a way to use the glitter in some nail art :)
Beautiful manicure, as always!
Jennifer looks lovely. It reminds me a bit of fish scales.
Thank you Lindsay :) Hmm.. fish scales? It didn’t come to my mind, but now when said it.. it may well be so! :D
That is simply gorgeous, I love this combination, well made and thought of!
Thank you Maria :)
Half’n’half :) I like it :) peel off base coats are real saviors with glitters I wear them much more often since I got it :)
Glad you like it :))
Pff pff another gorgeous and original manicure! C’amon! lol I don’t have Jennifer and I agree it is a gorgeous shade (as ever) from Cindy, but I’m definitely more in love with the way you presented it with the stamping… i’m in love! *-* Kisses,
Cristina
