Today’s post hero is a pink creme Colorist 213. It’s the only nail polish by Colorist in my collection so far, and this warm pink/peach color is quite unusual for me.
I don’t know much about the brand, and I bought the polish only because of its color. When I came home and read the info on its 10 ml bottle, I found out that it’s claimed to be a ridgefiller, nail polish and top coat all at once. Just look at the label:
The pics show 3 thin coats with a top coat over a clear base. I could easily get away with 2 coats, I applied the 3rd one because I knew I’ll be taking pics of it.
Does the polish help to even nail surface? Well, I didn’t notice any difference from a regular nail polish, and I had to apply a top coat as I used water decals for the floral nail look.
As always, the list of products I used for the manicure:
- Orly Nail Defense clear base
- Colorist 213
- Floral water decals
- Black heart shaped rhinestones on accent nails
- Cult Nails Nevermore – I painted my thumbs black to finish the look (just mentioning it here as the pics don’t show it)
- Clear top to seal the decals
Well, I hope you liked my floral nails :) Thank you for reading! ♥
The result is pretty – and being one with ridges I have not yet found a polish that works “all in one”, in fact I see not much difference if any…
Same here, I simply buff my nails when needed to make them smooth :)
Such a lovely manicure! love the decals, can I get these online?
Thank you! I bought the decals offline, at the local store. Unfortunately I don’t know where to get them online.. :(
So pretty!
:) thank you Ina!
I’ve never heard of the brand but it’s a nice color and decals are cool :D
Thank you! I love these water decals too, I’ve used just half of them for the nail look, and I still have enough for another manicure :D
Ok, really, where do you find the most adorable decals? I need to scour ebay :D
Oh it’s easy, there’re lots of those decals in the local store, along with other nail art supplies and manicure accessories :D
