OPI Nein! Nein! Nein! Ok Fine! with a camo accent

OPI Nein! Nein! Nein! Ok Fine! is an unusual color to wear in the beginning of Spring. This dark green toned grey was created for Fall and Winter, and yet – here it is on my nails today:

OPI Nein Nein Nein Ok Fine!

On my ring fingernails I did a camo design, I thought it would go well with this almost khaki color. I applied 2 coats of China Glaze Kalahari Kiss, and then I painted the camo pattern with red, gold and OPI NNNOF, using a dotting tool.

The products I used:

  • OPI Nein! Nein! Nein! Ok, Fine! (2 coats over clear base)
  • China Glaze Kalahari Kiss
  • OPI 20 Candles on My Cake
  • Orly Luxe
  • Clear top

I’m starting to like the pretty ugliness of swampy colors. Another thing about dark green\grey color family is that they are easier to wear and better match my wardrobe than pure green shades.

As always, thank you for reading :)

I really like this mani. The camo is cute as an accent nail.

Thank you Cindi :) I didn’t feel like doing a full camo manicure, it’d have been too much for my outfit :)

  2. Oh, how cool! I love the camo accent!

      Thank you Ina :)

  3. Considering the weather over here this is a perfect color to wear. I’m not a fan of camo print but I like how you switched it up with red and gold

You won’t believe it, but it was snowing here today. Again. It feels as if I live at the North Pole >< So my dark camo nails looked quite appropriate..

      1. Unfortunately I do believe it, spring forgot to come to Europe this year I guess

  4. Oh YES – this is so elegant, yet fun and eye-catching – well done!

If you ever use a regular acrylic paintbrush for polish, how do you keep it from drying on the brush and making it inflexible? Do you clean the brush with nail polish remover?

Hello Christina! Yes, I use regular acrylic brushes. When I use nail polish for designing, I clean the brush with a cotton pad with some nail polish remover every time I see the polish is starting to dry on it :)
