I think water decals are my second most favorite way to decorate my nails. It’s easy to use them, and it usually takes me not longer than 5 mins to do a full design. Another great thing about water decals is that you’ll always get what you see.
I saw these floral decals on sale for about $1 and just couldn’t pass up. I bought several of them with different floral patterns, and today I’m showing you the first set – purple flowers with green leaves. I thought they’d look nice on cool toned yellow as accents (2 accent nails on each hand). For the rest of my nails I chose a purple shimmer that matches the color of the flowers.
As always, here’s a list of nail polishes I used for the floral nail design:
- Lumene Magic Moment – purple jelly-like shimmer (hence the title of the post)
- Orly Lemonade – pastel yellow creme, one of those rare yellows that more or less match my skin tone
- Floral nail decals
- Fast drying top, because Magic Moment is beautiful but dries not so magically
Well, that’s it :) and now a little announcement – tomorrow early in the morning Dennis and I are escaping the city for a few days. I’ll be offline approximately till Friday, hopefully not longer. Most likely I won’t be able to answer your comments while I’m away, but I’ll read them all and answer as soon as I’m back :)
Have a good week ahead! I will miss you! ♥
