Pink Marshmallow is the second milky glitter that I got from Dance Legend Fruity Milk collection. The collection was released last month for Spring 2013. Here’s how the glitter looks on my nails:
Pink Marshmallow is a light pink milky base with a mix of big hex gold, silver, red, green and blue glitters accompanied by fine glitters of the same colors. Here’s the mix in the bottle:
The pictures show 2 coats of Dance Legend Pink Marshmallow over Orly Nail Defense clear base, topped with a coat of Orly Glosser (which is a clear top).
Last week when I posted swatches of my other glitter from the Fruity Milk collection (you can find the post here) one sweet girl asked me about the opacity of the Fruity Milk glitters. Today I tried the glitters over a clear base, and both of them were streaky :( That means it’s either you wear them in 1 coat with a milky base, or you’ll have to apply 2 coats for the streaks to disappear. Next time I wear them, I’ll use a milky base, because I prefer a light and airy look without too much glitter.
For today’s swatches I applied 2 coats to show you Pink Marshmallow’s true nature. No improvements or milky bases :)
However even in 2 coats I like how it looks :) The only thing I didn’t like was the drying time. The first coat dried quickly, but the second one took ages to dry into a state when it doesn’t dent easily. One more reason to choose the “one coat” way of wearing it.
Overall, Pink Marshmallow is surely something fun to add to the collection :)
Thank you for reading! Have a great weekend xxx
