I needed some cheering up because of the cold snowy weather, so yesterday I decided to use a light pink nail polish. My pink of choice was Essie’s Need A Vacation:
I love this light bubble gum pink color, but the application is streaky and can be quite frustrating. I needed 3 thick coats for it not to be too sheer. In the pics the polish is applied over Orly clear base and covered with a clear glossy top.
I was going to do a french mani with white & silver tips, but as it often happens to me, I ended up with something different :) The stripes design is painted freehand with a thin nail art brush.
The list of products I used:
- Orly Nail Defense base
- Essie Need a Vacation – light pink creme
- White acrylic paint
- Orly Dazzle – well pigmented silver nail polish (great to paint with!)
- Clear top to seal the acrylic design
Thank you for reading! See you soon xxx

Thank you Ina!
So super delicate and lovely – super feminine!
Thank you Maria, I’m glad you like this girly manicure :)
Your artwork using your nails as the canvas is simply wonderful. Each different color combo makes me drool with envoy that they aren’t my nails.
Keep up the artwork!!
