High Voltage – a blue holo from Dance Legend
February 23rd, 2013 | Posted by in Nail Polish SwatchesThis is the first time I’m posting a holographic nail polish here, I’ve even started a new tag for them. The polish is called High Voltage and it comes from Dance Legend’s New Prism holo collection:
High Voltage doesn’t seem very impressive in the bottle, but it amazingly comes to life on my nails. Here’s a close up of the bottle:
It is a beautiful blue holographic nail polish with some green notes in it. The polish is quite opaque for a holo, the pics here show 2 coats with a clear top (daylight, cloudy sky).
There’s not much sun these days, so I decided not to wait and do High Voltage swatches in the daylight, while sun was stubbornly hiding behind the clouds. However I cheated a bit – a couple of days ago, when the sun was shining bright, I took a pic of the polish together with one more holo from the New Prism collection. That time I was wearing another mani and I didn’t want to ruin it, so I have the holos only on nail fan sticks.
Dance Legend in High Voltage #11 (blue holo) and Shock #03 (pink holo) both in 2 coats, direct sunlight:
Shock swatches are coming soon, as now I’m still enjoying High Voltage :) The application was ok, no complaints, and I didn’t do any clean up.

Stunning shade! Although I’m not a big fan of linear holos, the colour of this one is so rich and deep that it makes me want it :)
Neither am I, but High Voltage looks great even when there’s not much light, and I like its holographic shine in artificial lighting :)
