I love lace nail designs and I thought Chanel Jade Rose would make a nice nude base for white lace nail decals I bought last weekend. Sometimes I like a barely-there lace look on my nails, for me its a great palette cleanser after bright, dark, or crazy colors. It’s more than plain nude, but less than some eye-catchy nail art.
I wore Jade Rose by itself for 1 day, and next day I applied white lace nail decals over the nude base. As a finishing touch I used a layer of Orly topcoat to even the surface and seal it all. So this was a very easy lace nails look :)
The hard part was to remove the decals after 2 days of enjoying the manicure. I didn’t expect it to be so difficult – the process reminded me of taking off glitter polishes. However I cannot say the same about Jade Rose, the polish always behaves and is easy to remove. It’s a nice peachy pink neutral shade with subtle pink shimmer, one of those that give my nails natural “polished” look. Here it is in the bottle:
I hope you liked the look, and now I’m off to the magical world of Witcher 2 :) Thank you for reading and see you soon xxx
It’s so elegant and subtle – beautiful!
thank you, Maria, it’s just that effect I wanted to get :)
This is a nice nude for you and I like it that you made it more interesting with the decals.
Jade Rose itself is quite self-sufficient, I wore the polish several times already and I like that look of nakedness it gives my nails :)
I love lace in nail art! Whereas black lace is sometimes “too much”, white lace mostly looks light and pure on nails. And the combination with peachy nude is great! : )
Yep, lace nail art is one of my favorite too :) I cannot but agree with you about black laces on nails – those usually demand a proper outfit or a special occasion, with nude laces on nails its a bit more casual :)
This is so delicate! The decals look beautiful on the nude base.
Thank you Lindsay :) Nude base is great for many nail art ideas!
