Blue nails with golden glitter

Hello :) Today I’d love to show you one more glitter from Golden Rose Jolly Jewels line. The polish goes under the number 111, and it’s a mix of big golden and medium silver glitters in a blue jelly base. The base is quite transparent, so I thought it would be better to layer #111 over a light blue Orly in Skinny Dip.

The accent nail is Orly Luxe decorated with blue stripes made with Sally Hansen Blue Me Away (Skinny Dip was too watery to paint stripes with). A close up of the mani:

I must say, that glitter polishes and I have a strained relationship. I love how glitters shine on my nails, but I hate the hassle I have to go through to remove them, even if I use that famous foil method. Golden Rose’s Jewel #111 was not an exception, it wasn’t easy to remove the big glitter particles, and I was very happy I did only one coat.

Please, pay attention that these are not swatches of Golden Rose Jolly Jewels 111, but just an idea of how to wear it. On its own the polish looks completely different. I wouldn’t wear it solo, but I might use it again in another combo. Overall, #111 is a nice polish for its price, just like the rest of the Jolly Jewels family. I only wish Golden Rose had named the polishes…

I wonder what’s wrong with me and why I suddenly got carried away with glitters after a looong break. Perhaps it’s because of the holidays spirit, we’ve just welcomed Christmas and now it’s New Year hiding around the corner. Time to think of a New Year mani! Hmmm… more glitter? :)
See you soon xxx

Oh.. sorry to hear that Jolly Jewels are expensive in where you live :( Here they cost less then 2€ pre bottle, it could have been cheaper, but still it’s acceptable..

      1. we have greedy people here, there are between 4 and 5 €, I’m hoping they will have some kind of discount now after new year has passed

I agree, 5 € is a ridiculously high price for a Golden Rose polish, even if their Jolly Jewels line is quite unique. I do hope they’ll put the polishes on sale, I’d love to have a look at those glitters on your nails :)
