I haven’t worn blue nail polish in who knows how long! Now it’s time to change that :) Today I’d love to show you a light blue color by IsaDora in Baby Blue (quite an apt name for the polish), and I also added some floral nail art to make the manicure more interesting:
I love IsaDora nail polishes for their wide & rounded at the tip brushes, and good formulas. Baby Blue is not an exception. It’s a cheerful sky blue creme that outshines many pastel colors. The formula is a little bit streaky on the first coat, but it settles in the second one. Usually I can get away with two coats, but for the photo set I felt safer with three thin coats.
After the polish was dry to touch I painted flowers on my middle and ring fingernails, and then I finished this floral design with a dry-and-cracked-desert-ground pattern.
Overall for the white flowers on blue nail design I needed:
- Lumene Gloss and Care base coater
- IsaDora 624 Baby Blue – light blue base color
- White flowers – Sally Hansen White On
- Black cracked desert ground pattern – Sally Hansen Black Out
- Clear top coater
Here’s the base color in the bottle – IsaDora Baby Blue:
That’s it for today :) Thank you for reading!
Wow this is stunning, the colour and design are beautiful.
Thank you Sara :))
Beautiful! Great choice of colors and very nicely painted! I love it!
Thank you Ina! I especially enjoyed painting that cracked ground pattern, it was fun and easy. I’ll use the pattern again for other nail designs for sure :)
Awww, you are right about that color, it’s so gorgeous – and with your lovely flowers on it, it suddenly becomes devine – very, very beautiful!
Yes, it is! :)
IsaDora Baby Blue reminds me of OPI What’s With the Cattitude? Unfortunately I never had a chance to own Catittude, to bad the color was a limited edition.. and now Baby Blue is one of the polishes that I’m happy to own :)
blue :D everyone knows I love blue this one is amazing :) and I really like the nail art you’ve done on it :)
hehe yes, I remember about your love for blue shades :) I’m glad you like the nail art x
Lol Baby blue is a very fitting name! I am happy to hear what with the cattitude is similar bc I own that one! sweet! I love your free handed flowers, they look amazing.
ohhhh you have OPI’s cattitude?! now I envy you lol I’m not sure how much close it is to Isadora Baby Blue, but I want to believe they are similar :)
