Hello everyone :) The weekend is almost here, so let me continue with bright and cheerful nail polish swatches. Today I’m wearing the super hot and spring-y goodness that is OPI Color So Hot It Berns nail polish:
As always OPI is playing with names :) This beautiful color came out with the OPI Swiss collection for Fall/Winter 2010. It’s a very bright hot red nail polish with a glossy cream finish. Reds are not my favorites, but somehow they always make me feel “polished” and presentable.
One coat can be enough for opaque coverage, however two coats would probably give you an even deeper color. Here I have 1 coat of OPI Base + 2 coats of OPI Color So Hot It Berns (no top coat):
I also tried to make a comparison swatch of OPI CSHB and OPI Big Apple Red (ring finger), both colors in 2 coats:
If you want to see the famous OPI BAR in action take a peek at my OPI Big Apple Red post, btw there are sweets there too :) And here I have one more comparison pic to show you:
Overall, I like OPI Color So Hot It Berns nail polish a lot. The color is gorgeous and the formula is very comfortable to work with. If you are in the market for a classic red nail polish this can be a very good option.
The end :)
I hope you liked it, because I liked it very muchly, especially the final “Raffaello + tea” part ;)
Ok, till next time! Have a good weekend xxx
this looks absolutely amazing on you and the red is so attractive that I could look at it a whole day
yes, this OPI is really beautiful :)
