So, how about a short break from nail polish swatches? Yesterday me and my friend went to a beauty expo here in Saint Petersburg. It was lots of fun, and ofc we bought some nail polishes and nail care stuff. We spent there about 3 hours, walking around from stand to stand, trying everything that looked interesting and picking up new ideas for nail art and make up :))
See our pics from the Beauty Expo…
This is what we saw when we entered the main area:
There was a big catwalk in the center, and make up tables with equipment for contestants from both sides of it. We watched the show for a while, and went on to the shopping area. Here’s a couple of pics of shops and stands of the nail polish brands you all know :)
It’s an expo store of Victory Beauty Company. VictoryCo is the main China Glaze reseller in Saint Petersburg. Here we stopped and shopped for a bit :) A quick pic of China Glaze stands:
Next to the CG shop there was a natural cosmetics stand with hand made decorative soaps, organic shampoos, creams and so on. Unfortunately I don’t remember the brand.
And nail polishes again! CND display:
Rows of Jessica nail polishes:
A display with some unknown polishes:
Zoya’s row of stands:
… and some mini displays:
It was really crowded at Zoya’s, we had to wait to get to the displays so we could have a closer look at the polishes that we wanted to buy, but Zoya’s beautiful shades are worth waiting ;)
Then we moved on to the nail art stands with all those stickers, beads, feathers, glitterstones etc. A quick peek at stickers:
Nymphie found some nice nail designs:
There were lots of hairdressing, make up and nail art tutorials. Just look at this model and her hair!
… and one more really funny model girl, she was dancing all the time :))
A nail art masterclass:
There were many other interesting things to see, I didn’t take pics of Essie stands, as well as of OPI and Nubar polishes, and of some other nail care products. Over all, that was fun, we got home tired and happy :)
