Another untried shade from my nail polish box – a green cream by Alessandro. It’s a German cosmetics brand, and it’s quite popular here. The color is called Green Genie, and this is how it looks on my nails:

I can’t believe it took me so long to review this amazing dark shade! Suzi Skis in the Pyrenees was launched back in 2009 with OPI Espana fall/winter collection. Let me show you the swatches:

Today I have a new nail polish name for you – Sophin, it’s an European brand as far as I know. The sticker says that the polish was made in France. I bought it at the local store, there were so many beautiful shades on the display, that I was quite unsure of which one to choose :) Finally I set my mind on this lilac nail polish – Sophin #144:

So, how about a short break from nail polish swatches? Yesterday me and my friend went to a beauty expo here in Saint Petersburg. It was lots of fun, and ofc we bought some nail polishes and nail care stuff. We spent there about 3 hours, walking around from stand to stand, trying everything that looked interesting and picking up new ideas for nail art and make up :))

I already mentioned this nude polish several days ago. That time I wanted to swatch it, but couldn’t open the bottle :( Dennis came home and the problem was solved, but it was too late anyway. So here it is now – Canberra’t Without You from OPI Australia collection for Spring 2007:

Last summer when I was looking for legwarmers to wear with my white shorts and light pink sandals, I stumbled upon a small knitting shop at the local mall. There I saw a yarn of the color I really liked, and I though it would be great to knit a pair of legwarmers with it. I am not an experienced knitter, but I know some basic stiches and I can knit simple things like scarves or hand/leg warmers. So long story short, I bought the yarn.
Today, when I painted my nails with Essence #75 Princess Prunella I noticed how nice they go together :)

I woke up this morning with the idea to do a natural mani with a nude nail polish. So I removed yesterday’s Pixie Dust, took a good look into my polish box and took out an oldie – OPI Canberra’t Without You. BUT: I couldn’t open it! I tried really hard again and again, I even put it in hot water, but it was all in vain :(
I felt like that squirrel in the Ice Age movie, who wanted the nut so badly, but couldn’t open it lol After several tries I gave up and decided to wait for Dennis to come home from work and help me.
So no Canberra for today, instead I’ll show you another sheer pink shade called Fist Blush from Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear line:

Today I want to show you two little dinosaurs – Orly’s Pixie Dust and a good old Pentium II processor. Great combination, isn’t it? :)

The name says at all – this deep blue shimmer is really Hard to Resist :) I had to buy it as soon as I saw it on the Essence display at the local cosmetic store.

Originally launched in Spring 2010 with the Foil FX collection, Orly Luxe is now part of the core palette of colors.
