Mother Road Rose comes from OPI Red Like Roses collection that was released for Valentine’s Day in 2007. Now it’s in the OPI Classic colors line.
I wasn’t so overwhelmed with Mother Road Rose in the bottle but I actually like it a whole lot on. It’s a deep rose mauve shade with a pink microshimmer, perfect for cold seasons. The color is classic and quite versatile, and it goes with almost anything. Mother Road Rose is not too light or dark, making it a good nail polish suitable for any occasion.
2 coats of OPI Mother Road Rose in the daylight:
Mother Road Rose took two coats, and dried to a perfectly smooth surface. The pink microshimmer is more apparent in the sun or artificial lighting.

So overall I like the polish a lot, I know some people would call it “a boring classic shade for my mom”… but I like it anyway :)
I love your blog! I’ve just gone back until your first post and im a little bummed you don’t have more to look at! Lol I don’t think you’re on blogspot so I’ll just have to follow you from my bookmark feature. Keep up the awesome work (:
Hello Ami and thank you for the comment :)
I’m going to post on a regular basis, perhaps not every day, but still quite often, so hopefully there will be many more nail polish reviews pretty soon.
As for the “follow me” feature – you are right, I’ll try to do smth about it asap. It’s time to rediscover twitter and other social networks, and I’ll be happy to follow you back ofc :)
Have a good day/night!
